The ChoreoLab for performers and other interested persons with Sebastian Prantl takes place in the form of open jam sessions and labs at predetermined dates.Location: Tanz Atelier Wien, Neustiftgasse 38, 1070 Wien
This ChoreoLab will foster a research in the interface of motion and emotion through choreographic and improvisational investigations and dance rituals. The complex, intricate connection between “inner” and “outer” movement material will be shared within group work and will be distilled further into solo formats. So a deeply grounded (body) knowledge can be generated and enhanced in choreographic structures….

Together with choreographer Sebastian Prantl and artist in residence Alexsandro Araujo Guerra (Brazil) performers are invited to develop a kinetic gait that draws the inspiration from the structural objects by constructivist artist Walter Kaitna, which are providing spatial points of reference.
